The definition of luxury involves a state of great comfort or elegance. The meaning of luxury, however, differs immensely in individuals. According to Fodor’s Travel, it is advised that you decide on the level of your comfort and elegance before booking any trip. Private beaches are not something you will find here, but you will find levels of indulgence beyond imagination.
Reasons for visiting Camp Jabulani should without question include the Jabulani Herd. Meeting one of the big 5 face to trunk, must be at the top of all bucket lists in the world, especially when hearing their breath-taking story. The herd travelled from Zimbabwe to Hoedspruit, narrowly escaping their deaths. They consequently adopted an orphan, the namesake of Camp Jabulani, Jabulani. Read more here. The experience promises to be one of richness, at least to those seek to be near nature and wildlife. These elephants rest on the very same soil as the remainder of the big 5. Leisure game drives are accompanied by rangers that are intimately knowledgeable about all the local wildlife.
Family fun is encouraged with the affluent accommodation, such as the Zindoga Villa. The Villa is a mammoth 424m2, with an additional 225m2 of wooden decking overlooking the wild African bush.
The Villa also has wireless internet connectivity throughout for those who need to be connected and is also serviced by its own dedicated team. This team includes a ranger, private vehicle, butler and even a chef. Two individual suites are connected by a joint lounge and dining area and can accommodate a maximum of nine guests at any given time. Elegance, grand open spaces, luxurious finishes in unison with the African bush are at the order of the day. This does not mean, however, that those looking for a dreamy, romantic breakaway will be cast aside. These guests can be accommodated in any of the six suites and can experience an equal treat of Camp Jabulani.
Camp Jabulani boasts with Relais & Châteaux accreditation and promises extravagant facilities. These facilities are judged by the Association’s “five C” motto and includes Cuisine. Chefs at Camp Jabulani take to this task with great pride and love. Using local ingredients as imaginatively as they possibly can they bring a taste, not known anywhere else in the world. Changing up their menus paired with unique dining experiences promises a unique occurrence that would befit only you.
The lodge covers all expected areas of luxury including the tranquil therapy lapa, tucked away in the African bush. All rooms have air-conditioning and private plunge pools to help escape the African midday heat. Floating bath tubs and outdoor viewing showers are added to the lists of luxury.
